Eli is introduced in the third arc of the anime (Sakura Card arc) and in the second half of the manga. He is actually Clow Reed reincarnated. Eli comes from England and stopped his aging process so that he would eventually be able to enroll at Tomoeda and confront Sakura. His goal is to help her transform the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards.
