Meilin only appears in the anime. Still, she is an interesting character. She claims that she is engaged to Li and she is also his cousin. She has no magical abilities, but still tries her best to help Li find the Clow Cards. She is a very good fighter and defends Li at all costs. She often fights with anyone who seems to have an interest in Li.
